Obituary of Robert Francis O’Neill

Robert Francis O’ Neill;  68 Kingston, Ma  passed away on Sunday August 20th at home in Kingston, Ma. 

Bob as his friends and family knew him as was born in Boston, Ma  to Phillip and Margaret O’neill on September 3rd, 1954.  He went to high school in Quincy and graduated in 1972. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Arts  from Merrimack College. He worked for New England telephone company for many years. After they closed he went on to work for the State of Massachusetts Unemployment Commission. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling with his wife, his grandkids, The Black Raspberry, and working in his yard. 

Bob O’Neill is survived by his wife of 38 years Nancy O’Neill of Kingston, Ma.  His son Shawn O’Neill whom is currently stationed in Norfolk, Va as the Nuclear Electronic Technician Chief aboard the USS Albany SSN 753, Daughter in-law Kirstyn Oneill, and grandsons Eliot O’neill, Landon O’neill, and Connor O’neill. He is also survived by his brother Phillip and wife Gail O’Neill and his niece Catherine and nephew Joe. He is preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Margaret O’Neill.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, September 1st from 5-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston.
