I started working for John norrie when I was 16 years old washing waxing and greasing trucks. John worked side by side with me and taught me the heavy equipment diesel trade in the 6 years I worked for him from loaders to excavation to dozers his words were I won’t have you do anything I wouldn’t do myself John co-signed for my first truck that I paid off in 6 months then bought a brand new one you could not be lazy working for John because he set the tone for the day and work to him was enjoyable. John treated me with such respect and trusted me to rebuild and paint among other things I owe my work ethics to John . I only wished I spoke more of Jesus to John and salvation . John was like a father to me and for that I am very grateful. John you will be missed I should have come back to visit you where 35 years go rest in peace my friend
