Anne was my painting student. I called her Apple Annie, because at the beginning of her painting career she painted lots of apples and she had a sparkling apple dumping kind of smile. She has often been on my mind. I know after her fall it became difficult for her to communicate. We had a couple of calls afterwards. I actually called her at the end of August and left a message. I was out of the country for a couple of weeks and just got back. I decided to look her up on Facebook to see if I could connect with a relative and get an update, let her know I've been thinking of her and love her.… and then I saw the tragic news of her death. I’m so sorry for you and your family. Gosh, she loved her family, as I'm sure you know! She had a special place in my heart and I’m deeply saddened she is not on this earth. She will be missed by all the students in her classes through the years, as she was adored. Gosh, wish I could get one more hug. Sending love to you and your family.
