Obituary of Michael Reynolds
Please share a memory of Michael to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Michael Reynolds, age 65, died peacefully at home on July 19th, after a long illness.
Mike was predeceased by his parents Alton and Nancy (Galas) Reynolds. He is survived by his wife Joanne (Griffin), son Harrison, his siblings, Meredith, Marjorie, Matthew, and Melissa Reynolds (Williamson), his aunt and uncle, Duane and Leah Reynolds, as well as his many nieces and nephews.
Born May 29th, 1958 in Natick, Mike grew up in Dover, and was able to see the world when his father’s jobs took his family first to India, and then to Beirut, Lebanon. While in India, he learned to play the tablas, which became a lifelong passion, playing with several bands and many drum circles throughout the years. He graduated from American Community School in Beirut in 1976, but had to leave early due to the civil war which broke out during that time. In 1980, he graduated from Babson College and worked for many years in sales jobs and computer security. His other passions included spending time out on the water on his boat, and hanging out with his large extended family.
A memorial service will be held on August 26th with visiting hours at the Beal House, 222 Main St. from 10-11 and a Unitarian Service at First Parish Church, 223 Main St. 11:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association. His smile and gentle nature will be sorely missed!
