Ann Harrison Carroll, 101, passed away on July 8, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Francis Hillary Carroll

She is survived by her sons, Michael Hillary Carroll and his wife Meg, of Chicago Illinois, Patrick Harrison Carroll and his wife Kathleen of Westport Mass, Sean Thomas Carroll and his wife Nina of Plymouth MN, Daughters; Mary Ann LaFleur and her husband Ed of Plymouth MA, Maureen Drilling and her husband Martin of Plymouth MA, Colleen Collins of Baltimore MD. Grandchildren; Scott LaFleur, Matthew LaFleur, Craig Drilling, Emily Lopez, Chrisitne Jaworski, Annie Colegrove, Michael Carroll, Kathleen Spadavecchio,Ryan Carroll, Hillary Jeffries, Erin Kelly, Evelyn Carroll, Julia Pihl and 19 great grandchildren. 

She was the child of Irish immigrants and was raised in a large Irish Catholic family in Concord NH. She graduated from Plymouth State College where she was trained as an elementary school teacher. Ann was selflessly dedicated to her husband Hillary and her 6 children,13 grandchildren and 19  great grandchildren. She lived in Duxbury Mass since 1960, where she raised her family and was active in Holy Family Church, Duxbury High School Booster Club and all of her children's school and athletic activities. After her husband's death in 1989 she found fulfillment in her loving family highlighted by annual Duxbury July 4th reunions. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's name can be made to Friends of Duxbury Council On Aging, 10 Mayflower St, Duxbury MA, 02332. 
 

Services will be private.
