Ann L. Burgess, 83, of Plympton, MA passed away on June 10, 2023 in Plymouth, MA, surrounded by friends and family.

Ann was born on April 9, 1940, to Dorothy and Joseph Pitts.  During her lifetime, Ann was a passionate fundraiser for children’s, veteran’s and meals on wheels charities alongside her best friend Rosemary Monaghan.

Ann was predeceased by her husband William Burgess and happily resided in Plympton for over 50 years.  Ann will be missed greatly by her 5 children and extended family members, Dorothy Stewart and husband Paul, Thomas Conlin and wife Jacque, Michele Almeida and husband Harold, William Burgess and wife Wilma, Dana Burgess and wife Teresa, and Bernadette and Raymond Martin. Ann was also a doting grandmother to 10 granddaughters and 5 great grandchildren.

Ann loved being with her friends at the Upland Sportsman Club, taking her kids to the beach, cooking for friends and family, Boston sports, vacations, and the company of her loving husband Bill.

Ann’s family would like to thank everyone who cared for and assisted our mother over the last few years, especially multiple members of the Upland Sportsman Club. Your willingness to lend a hand and the care and love you showed for our mother is greatly appreciated.

A celebration of her life will be held at the Upland Sportsman Club in Plympton on Thursday, August 10thfrom 4PM to 8PM.  The family asks in lieu of flowers, donations be given to Ann’s favorite charity, St Jude’s Children Hospital.

Mom, may you and Dad now dance in heaven together for eternity.
