Obituary of Vincent R. Walsh

Vincent "Vinnie, Vince” Walsh, 90, passed away peacefully on Wednesday June 7, 2023, at his home in Carver, MA.

Vincent was born in Boston, MA to Catherine and Richard Walsh. Vincent was the beloved husband of Grace, for over 50 years. He was the loving father of John, Valerie and Bart. He is survived by his sisters Eileen Stuart and Mary (Mike) Donato, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Vincent was preceded in death by his parents as well as his brothers Dick, Pete and Leo.

Vincent, a US Navy Veteran, proudly served his country during the Korean War. Following his service he worked for the Boston Housing Authority until retirement. He enjoyed reading about all Philosophies and religions; walked as often as he could; was an avid gardener and enjoyed all music, especially Hank Williams.

Visitation will be held from 4-6:00 PM, on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, Carver. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Friday June 16, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes in Carver; with a burial to follow at the Center cemetery in Pembroke.
