Sister Juliana Frisoli, 76, who departed this life on April 17, 2023, in the fifty-ninth year of her religious life.

If anyone had a personal theme song, it might have been Sr. Juliana. She found peace and beauty in the music of the monks of Weston Priory in Vermont. She and Sr. Charlotte rejoiced when they could spend a little vacation time in the beautiful Green Mountain State. They especially enjoyed the liturgies in the barn, where the Benedictine Brothers welcomed others to pray with them Coming from the Hough's Neck area of Quincy, from the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish, she was born on October 13,1946, the daughter of Frank and Margaret Sullivan Frisoli. She was the oldest of four siblings and is survived by her brothers Joseph and William and her sister Mary Ann. Sr. Juliana attended the Quincy public schools and entered the Sisters of Divine Providence on 9/15/1964. Following her classes in the Novitiate, she studied at Bridgewater State University.

In 1967 she began teaching at Sacred Heart Elementary School and worked in financial administration there. Later in the summers she studied at St. Michael's College in Winooski, Vermont and Simmons School of Social Work in Boston, and she worked as a therapist since 1993. Following these degrees, she began her clinical practice. She worked for the Center for Health and Human Services in Wareham; The Figman Psychiatric Group; Catholic Charities in Brockton and Behavioral Psychiatric & Psychological Associates in Raynham.

Visiting hours will take place on Thursday, April 20th at Our Lady of Divine Providence, Providence House, 363 Bishops Highway, Kingston MA, 02364 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM and 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Prayer service at 7:30 PM. A funeral mass will take place on Friday, April 21st at 10:00 AM. Interment will directly follow at the Our Lady of Divine Providence cemetery.
