Obituary of Susan A. Christiano

Christiano, Susan A. of Carver passed away November 3, 2022 at the age of 55 after a brief illness. Susan was born in Plymouth and grew up in Carver. Loving mother of her beloved daughter Kathryn Coveney. Devoted daughter of Joan and the late Francis Christiano of Carver and Sister of Francis Christiano and his wife Kerri, loving Aunt to nephew Ryan, and nieces Faith and Angela of TX. Also survived by dear friends Patty and Sandra and many cousins and extended family and friends.  

Susan graduated from Plymouth-Carver Regional High School, studied Psychology at Wellesley College and also studied at Harvard University Graduate School of Education and graduated in 1990. Susan was the business owner of Lady Guendalina’s Closet and a Transcriptionist at Cambridge Transcriptions. She is also a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA).

Her greatest joys came from spending time with her daughter Kathryn and her Mom, family and friends and her beloved dog “Evie”.  Susan and Kathryn loved their yearly trip to the Pennsic Renaissance Fair in Pennsylvania and renaissance reenacting at many events each year. Susan’s special talent was making handmade original accessories, her expertise and her passion for crocheting unique and beautiful snoods, fashionable head coverings to bring a little glamour to those fortunate enough to wear one, beaded hairpins and necklaces. Susan was a veteran at the weekly Carver Farmer’s Market also a avid reader, who loved to paint and work on puzzles. Susan also had a love for singing and listening to all kinds of music. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Susan’s Celebration of Life on Monday from 12:00 to 4:00p.m. on February 20th at Shepard’s Funeral Home in Carver.
