Ann Catherine Cushing Vaillancourt, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2022 at her daughter's home in Plymouth, MA, she was 91.
Ann was born in Weymouth, MA to Agnes Butler Cushing and Ralph S. Cushing, where she had a wonderful childhood.

Ann was predeceased by her sisters Margaret Trusty and Pauline Scolamiero. She is survived by her six children, Mary Ann and Paul Affsa of Falmouth, Kathleen Vaillancourt of Bozeman, Lisa and James Dargan of Plymouth, Mark Vaillancourt of Livingston, Marlyss and Paul Whalen of Pembroke and Ann Marie and Frank Miele of Bozeman. Cherished and devoted Grandmother to Tom Affsa, Eric Affsa, Julie Deady, Elizabeth Rehmer, Neil Sirois, Justin Gilmore and Ryan Miele and Great Grandmother to Jaelyn, Maia, Hannah, Lexi, Maddison, Kyle, Taylor, Chase, Gabby, Luc, Grace, Connor, Aiden and Anna who were all the light of her life. Ann had a strong faith and instilled it in her children and grandchildren.

She loved to pray the rosary and knit and when she wasn’t able to make more complicated projects any longer, she made baby hats and donated them to the South Shore Hospital maternity ward, praying for each child with each stitch. She loved Friday night family dinners, Saturday evening Mass at Holy Family followed by dinner at the Milepost, holidays with family, her week-long 90th birthday celebration in VT with her children and grandchildren. She had many dear friends, family and coworkers who adored her, even after many years post retirement. She loved Summer days at the Cape, and dinners by the sea at The Point restaurant. It was through her warmth, charm, humor and grace that she garnered so many longtime friends.

Ann, a woman of great faith, wished for the eternal life promised to all by Christ. She will truly be missed by all and never forgotten, until we meet again.
