Joan L. Macgregor Obituary

Joan Lovett (Pinkham) Macgregor of Kingston MA, died peacefully at her daughters home in Plympton on November 7, 2022, while surrounded by her family.


Joan is the daughter of the late Mary and Francis Lovett of Halifax Nova Scotia, and is predeceased by her husband Larry Macgregor and the love of her life John Waldolski of Tennessee.


Joan will be lovingly remembered by her son Stephen Pinkham and his wife Elaine of Falmouth, her daughter Marsha Stubbert and the late Michael Stubbert of Middleboro, and daughter Sharon Macleod and her husband Scott of Plympton. She was predeceased by her son Gary Tilley of Abington. Cherished Grandmother to her 3 grandchildren Robert Berry Jeff Berry and Denise Stubbert, as well as by her Great grandchildren Veronika Berry and Robert Berry Jr. Joan is also survived by her dear sister Bernadette Readshaw of MI.


Joan raised her family in Abington where she made many friends working at the Alamo and Vin and Eddies. She then met and married Larry Macgregor and moved to Florida where she spent many happy years until his passing. Then she met John Waldolski with whom she spent over forty happy years of her life. In her later years at Silver lake homes she enjoyed sunbathing, bird watching and time spent with friends and family. 


Memorial visiting hours will be held on Thursday, November 17th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston.
