Obituary of Sarah "Sally" Knightly Lucas

Sarah "Sally" (Knightly) Lucas of Carver, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on October 31, 2022. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Knightly and Abbie (Lowney) Knightly and predeceased by her long time companion Douglas Hall. 

Sally Graduated from Massasoit Community College with her degree in nursing. Sally started her nursing career at Bridgewater State Hospital and went on to work as a supervisor and retire from Lemeul Shattack Hospital in Jamaica Plain. After retirement, Sally continued to keep busy and went to work part time as a caregiver at Tobey Hospital in Wareham Mass. 

Sally's enjoyments in life were reading, camping at Sandy Neck Beach, trips to the casino, relaxing by the pool with a drink in her hand and enjoying family time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Sally is survived by her children Cheryl Pendleton, wife of Scott Pendleton of Carver, Michelle Lucas formerly of Brockton, twin sons William Lucas and Thomas Lucas and his wife Kris Pike all of Brockton, her brother Thomas Knightly and wife Judith of Norwell, two nieces, her three grandsons, Christopher, Cameron and Joseph. Along with two great-granddaughters, Reagan and Riley whom she adored. 

Sally will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. 

There will be a private service for immediate family members followed by a celebration of life at a later date.
