Alice was a dear friend to my mother, Mary Patten. They met through the Carver Garden Club and shared a love of plants and gardens. I have fond memories of visiting with her and enjoyed when she and George would stop at my mother's house when out for their walks. She was always very kind to me and I want to extemd my sympathies to her family.
