James Flanagan, 69, of Pembroke, passed away on August 24, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Patrice (Steeves) Flanagan, daughter Michelle (Andrews) Feudo of Tewksbury and son in law John Feudo. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan & Jackson Feudo as well as sons Greg & James Flanagan of FL. Jim is also survived by his siblings Ed Flanagan, Carol Flaherty and was preceded in death by siblings William Flanagan Jr., John Flanagan and Susan Gill. 

Jim worked as a machinist for Bird Roofing in Norwood from 1972-1999. He returned to school in 2000 and earned his degree from Wentworth and Massasoit in Architectural Design. The following years were spent completing countless home improvement projects in his garage and workshop.

He loved to  travel and find new adventures, whether exploring Iceland, Europe or Costa Rica he enjoyed all facets of each destination. Jim was an active sports enthusiast, he participated in many activities throughout his lifetime including football, hockey, tennis, skiing, biking and golf. He was also a member of the Country Club of Halifax since 2003. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Sunday, August 28th from 11:00 to 1:00pm. A service will be held at the funeral home at 1:00pm.
