Obituary of Linda Gangi

Linda (Ruffini) Gangi (74) passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.  Linda was born in Plymouth to the late Amelio “Mike” and Beatrice Ruffini.  She attended Silver Lake High School and graduated with the class of 1966.  Linda worked for many years at Buttner’s department store but most recently worked at South Shore Medical Center as a receptionist where she enjoyed greeting the patients every day and getting to know them and their families.  Linda enjoyed tending her garden, cooking, sewing crewel and spending time with her family.  Known affectionately as Nonnie to many, she was a great listener who let others do the talking and offered advice only when asked.  

She is survived by her daughter Laurie Allen and her husband Rob Allen, her granddaughter Miranda Andreson and her husband Aaron Andreson, her grandson Parker Allen and her sister Pamela Ruffini.  She is also survived by her two beloved great grandsons.

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston from 4:00 to 7:00PM on Tuesday, July 19th. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 20th at 10:00AM at St. Joseph Church in Kingston. Interment will directly follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Kingston.
