Obituary of Jeremy Stadelmann

Please share a memory of Jeremy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Jeremy Stadelmann 31 of Pembroke,MA died in the arms of his best friend and loving mother, Rachel, on Sunday June 12, 2022, just shy of his 32 birthday.

Jeremy was small but mighty and his strength of body and spirit saw him through many medical challenges over the course of his 31 years. Jeremy succumbed to an illness after a battle valiantly fought.  Jeremy spent his final days snuggling with his mother, enjoying hand massages, and listening to songs by Carrie Underwood, Willie Nelson, and their favorite, “The Rainbow Connection.”

Throughout his life, Jeremy endeared himself to everyone he met. It was impossible not to love his sweet disposition.  Jeremy never made demands of those around him.  It made him joyful to hold his mother’s hand, to run his fingers through her hair and to feel her face against his.  He liked bare feet, rides on his swing, visiting with horses, taking a dip in a warm pool, and watching the Muppets.  Music moved him and sometimes seemed to be all that he needed to be transported to a place of peace..

Jeremy’s mother has worked for the Duxbury Public school system for much of his life.  “Jay Jay” would have been humbled and happy to know that he was an essential presence in every class she ever taught.  In truth, she would call Jeremy her greatest teacher because he taught her compassion, kindness, patience, and most of all how to truly see and sincerely love each and every child. In this way, Jeremy has had an impact that is both immeasurable and infinite.

Jeremy will continue to be dearly  loved by his Grandparents; Mimi (Mary Stadelmann), Papa, and Oma (Thomas and Jere Stadelmann), His aunts and uncles; Jennifer Stadelmann, Jessica Farrell and her husband Brian, and Ryan Stadelmann and his wife Aly.  His cousins will cherish their memories of Jay.

Somewhere in heaven there is a new angel sipping strawberry milk, strumming on a ukulele, and watching proudly over his mom.
