Shaun Kasianowicz

Obituary of Shaun P Kasianowicz

Please share a memory of Shaun to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Shaun Paul Kasianowicz was born June 30th, 1988 to the parents of Dawn (Martin) and Paul Kasianowicz of Pembroke, MA. Shaun was the grandson of Norma and the late Paul Martin and Barbara and the late Alfred Kasianowicz.

As the older brother of Kyle and Lauren, Shaun paved their way for athletics and excelled in baseball and hockey. He played on the Kingston Babe Ruth baseball team and was known for his prodigious left handed home runs. If he wasn’t on the ice playing for the high school hockey team, you could find Shaun at the center of the party playing his guitar and bringing family and friends together with covers and mashups of any request. After graduating Silver Lake Regional High School, Shaun spent the following year at Nichols College located in Western Mass where he studied Business Management.

It wasn’t long before Shaun's larger than life personality led him, and best friend Matthew Pujalte, to the Gold Coast Australia. Shaun spent two years exploring the world down under and experiencing adventures most of us only dream of. There his passion for cooking grew. His self-taught culinary skills added to his list of talents as he returned home to pursue a career as a chef for several years. Eventually, Shaun leveraged his business knowledge and skills to establish a successful career in property management for many years.

Shaun passed away peacefully in his sleep March 17th, 2022 at his home in Kingston. Shaun was predeceased by his mother Dawn who he loved and missed deeply, and is survived by his father Paul, brother Kyle, sister Lauren and fiance Charles Nantais, many family members, and countless friends.

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 25th from 4-8 pm at Shepherd’s Funeral Home, Kingston, MA. A 10:00am MASS will be held Saturday March 26 at Saint Joseph’s Parish, Kingston, MA.
