Rose Marie Ungechauer (Cecchi), age 83 of Kingston, MA, formally of Westbury, NY, passed away with her family by her side on February 28, 2022.

Rose was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 30, 1938. She graduated from Andrew Jackson High School and worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Her biggest delight was being a stay-at-home mother and served as class mom and president of the PTA. Rose was a dedicated hockey, lacrosse, cheer, and dance mom. Another great joy of Rose was being a grandmother; she was nicknamed either Rosie, Nonni, or Grammy, and was always goofing around and spoiling the kids.  She enjoyed many different crafts such as ceramics and bead work.

Rose is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Stanley Ungechauer; daughter, Joanne LePauloue and her husband Joe; son, Stan Ungechauer, Jr. and his wife, Courtney; stepdaughter, Anne Marie Mulieri and her husband Peter; and grandchildren, Alana, Joey, CJ, Catherine, Mary, Tricia, SJ, and Christina.

Her humor, generosity, and commitment to family will never be forgotten and will be carried on by her loved ones.

Visitation will be held at Shepherd Funeral Home, Kingston, MA on Thursday, March 3 at 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Church, Kingston, MA on Friday, March 4 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury, MA.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the critical care staff at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital, Plymouth.
