Obituary of Bruce Thayer

Bruce T. Thayer, 83, of Carver, passed away on February 3, 2022. Bruce was preceded in death by his loving wife of 40 years, Linda Thayer. He is survived by his step-son, Guy Duarte of Carver, Step-daughter Michelle Santos of Concord, NH, son, Mark Thayer of Bridgewater, daughter Tracy Thayer of Virginia and his brother James Thayer of ME. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Brian Thayer and his sister Florence Westgate. Bruce also leaves many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Bruce was an avid outdoorsman, hunter and fox chaser. He was a lifelong resident of Carver. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. 

Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St, on Saturday, February 12, from 2-3:30pm. A service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 3:30PM.
