The world is just a little bit less now, with Barbara Anne Sylvester Hauber no longer in it. She joins her husband Joseph Martin Hauber Jr. in her everlasting rest. She is Oma to her grandchildren, Barby to her friends, Aunt Barby to her nieces and nephews, and Mom to her loving children. She was also a Milkmaid with her closest friends. She delighted in each of these special identities with those whom she loved.

Barby and Joe retired to New Port Richey, FL but returned to Massachusetts when Joe’s health was failing. She lived with her oldest son Matthew and his family for several years until she was once again able to move back to Duxbury.
