Obituary of Leonard k Hathaway

Leonard “Lenny” Hathaway of Plympton, MA, passed away on January 13, 2022. He was 64 years old, and is survived by his wife of 37 years, Beverly Hathaway, his two children Emma and Max, and his sister Ruea Miller, his niece Stacy, and his nephew Scott. Lenny had many friends he treated like family, who will miss him dearly as well. 

Leonard was born April 19, 1957 in New Bedford, MA to Franklin and Violet Hathaway. A former land surveyor, Lenny was retired, and spent his final year of life at home with family. 

Lenny was a gifted cook who enjoyed visiting new restaurants and trying new foods, and he always had a meal waiting for his loved ones. He loved going on adventures and playing with his grand dog Ruth, and he could always be found sneaking her an unauthorized treat. He was a talented guitarist who loved playing along with friends and family. He was mischievous, always quick with a joke and a conspiratorial smile, and he found humor even the most somber of situations. Most of all, he was generous, with his money, his attention, and most importantly his time.

He will be sorely missed, and we will carry his memory with us always.
