Please accept our sincerest condolences. Pedro was larger than life and left an indelible impression on all who met him. He was truly one of kind. He was fiercely loyal, a great friend and the glue that kept the old Caldor Brighton crew of he, Jim, Steve, and I together for the past 27+ years - whether through our occasional nights out or the ongoing (almost weekly) group text that kept us laughing and up to date on each of our families' goings on. While I am deeply saddened, I often smile when I recall our many, many "adventures" over the years.
Kendra, Abby, and Nick - Please know that Pedro was immensely proud of you and all your accomplishments. Even though we all didn't get together in person as often as we once did, I never felt as though we lost touch as we often shared stories and joked with each other as if we were seeing each other on a daily basis.
Godspeed my friend.

Kendra,
I was both shocked and saddened to hear of your loss! Pedro was truly a kind and giving person who mentored countless numbers of people including myself. If you were fortunate enough to really get to know him you realized what a wonderful human being he was. Very funny and his hearty laugh was infectious. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Kendra and family -
I once spent Thanksgiving dinner w/ your family in 1996. Pedro was my boss at Caldor in Allston. I was in my gap-year between college and eventually law school. Pedro showed me kindness, friendship. I was just a kid passing through. He didn't have to take the time, but he did. Pedro taught me about Portugal and the Patriots - catching shoplifters, not so much, I was no good! He was a gem of a man. He made everybody feel important and valued. I'm fortunate to have known him albeit only briefly. I'm truly sorry for your loss. Brad Korinski. Pittsburgh, Pa.

I will be forever thankful for all the things Pedro did for me. He knew I was alone in this country and he treated me as part of his family. He would also invite me to important family events and supported me with my projects and coaching career. I will miss his talks and game analysis after Nick’s games and his discussions between who is a better soccer player Ronaldo, or Messi. I think we all know the answer to this.. may God have you in his glory. Rest In Peace Pedro
