To Diane... my dearest and oldest friend (aka Crabby, aka Eufus) No one can ever take your place in my heart. The wonderful memories are too many to elaborate here but know they mean you will always be with me. We shared little in the way of interests yet we never ran out of things to share. You attended private school and I a church school. You were a diver and golfer, I was best at swimming and tennis. I was raised Catholic in a modest home, the oldest of six children. I don't recall you ever talking about going to a church and was the youngest of 3 siblings from a very smart home in Weston. Yet, we were inseparable best friends for six decades. You were just always there for me; I never imagined a time when you wouldn't be. I'm so sorry I couldn't be with you before you left this world but covid prevented that. I'll see you later Crabby. You have my love always, Sandy

Hubert,
When Diane came into your life, she brought you happiness, joy and a love that you truly deserved. Your heart breaks now with
sadness but please remember she also brought you a gift - the gift of memories that you made and shared together.
May you, and all those whose lives she touched, find comfort in those memories and call upon them to face the days ahead. She will always be in your heart.
Please know that we are with you today in heart and soul.
We are sending all our love to you.

Diane was my aunt, rather Auntie, because I called her Auntie Diane. Even as recently as three weeks ago when I texted her "Happy Thanksgiving". I remember visiting her in Charleston many years ago, and helping her cook supper. I opened the cupboard door and saw the most perfectly organized spice display I have ever seen! I must have stood there for a good minute, just staring. She was very organized! Same thing in the linen closet. I never saw sheets so perfectly folded and stacked! I knew I had to step up my game in my own home after that visit. My most recent in-person visit with Diane was several years ago, at a gathering for my mother's 80th birthday, hosted by my sister, Robin. After a huge feast of Chinese takeout, we had to make a surprise drive to - of all places, Dairy Queen - to fill Diane's craving for soft serve. Well I doubt she was craving it at that moment, but we all blamed our belly aches on her. I'm glad I have that memory. I have so many others because she was the best auntie. - Page Temple

My Aunt Diane holds a very special part of my heart that will be with me forever. I have so many fond memories of holidays spent together that she hosted and made sure we were all together. She loved gardening and sent me some iris' from her garden for me to plant in mine. She took great care in making sure they arrived alive and thriving. She visited me often in the summer on her travels through the northeast to visit all her lifelong friends. We so enjoyed catching up and she always tended to my garden beds and meticulously cut back all the dead flowers one at a time. She always had to have Chinese Food as she never found decent Chinese Food in SC! I am so grateful for all of the fabulous memories I have and will hold them dear. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Love Oobie Goobie
