Obituary of Audrey Marie Hird

Audrey Marie Hird, 92, of Duxbury, passed away on December 9, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Charles Wellington Hird. Loving Mother to Linda Susan Volpe and her husband Dennis of Brockton, and Lori Ann Kim and her husband Peter of Worcester. Daughter of the late Garrett and Mary (Sinyard) Fagan. 

Sister of Garrett Fagan of Natick, and the late Jack Fagan, Peter Fagan, and James Fagan. Cherished Grandmother to Beth Marie Volpe, Daniel Benjamin Volpe, and Kevin Adam Volpe, and great Grandmother to Zarrin Alexandra Volpe and Rhys Benjamin Volpe. Audrey is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  

Audrey was born in Boston and spent her childhood in St. Mary's, Newfoundland, Canada. When Audrey and Charlie married, they built their house in Duxbury, where they spent the rest of their lives.

An hour of visitation will be held on Sunday, December 12th from 10-11:00 AM with remembrances to be held at 11:00 AM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston.
