Robert Oliveri, 72, of Carver, passed away on November 21, 2021 of lung cancer. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Lech) Oliveri. 

Bob was born on October 9, 1949 in Brockton to the late Dominic and Lucile (Desjardins) Oliveri. He worked as a maintenance mechanic / machinist for most of his life, retiring in 2013. 

Bob was an avid Patriots fan. Bob and his wife Sandy were Patriots season ticket holders for 23 years and were fortunate enough to attend three Super Bowls. They loved to travel and visited many states and countries around the world. 

Bob was also a lifelong hot rod enthusiast. He built hot rods his whole life and will be most remembered for his 68’ Camaro convertible which he owned for over 40 years. He enjoyed attending car cruises, Hershey, SEMA, and many other car shows and swap meets. Some of the best days of his life were spent with his wife at his favorite beach, Horseneck beach, in Westport. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years Sandra (Lech) Oliveri, and his loving children Nicole Dillon and husband Kevin of Plymouth, and Brian Oliveri and wife Lauren of Halifax. He also leaves his beloved grandchildren Brittany Dillon, Michael Dillon, and Mark Oliveri as well as his step grandchildren Lily and Brody Rollins. Brother to Stephen Oliveri and wife Kristina of Pittston, ME, Ronald Oliveri and his wife Kathryn of Bridgewater, Dominic Oliveri of NY; his sister Angelina Oliveri of Sylacauga, AL. He was predeceased by his sister Margaret Oliveri. Lastly Bob is survived by his dog “Lucy”.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, November 26th from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 27th at the Shepherd Funeral Home at 10:30 AM. Graveside services will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org.
