Paul was a neighbor and dear family friend from an early age. He and my brother Woody Freeman spent many wonderful hours together. As I was born much later, I grew to know Paul as a grown-up. I remember my Mother baking brownies and sending them to Paul as he served in Vietnam. Weeks later, the dented aluminum brownie pan would return from a thankful Paul.
He was always kind and ready to help out. He had sparkling mischievous eyes and a gentle soul. Missed already.
