Obituary of Joan Marie Bromley

Joan Marie (Brouillard) Bromley, 77, passed away on September 20, 2021. Joan was born August 18, 1944 in Quincy, Mass to Lucien and Minnie Brouillard.  

She is survived by her 3 sons, Mark Simonetti and his wife Charlene, Christopher Bromley and wife Liz, David Flaherty and partner Maureen Nowak. She was the proudest grandmother to Stephen, Xavier, Dillon, Emilee, Matthew, Ryan, Mariah, Laila, Benjamin and Lilah. Great grandmother to Michael. 

She is survived by her brother Lucien Brouillard Jr. and his wife Donna; her sisters Patricia Fernald, Judith and her husband Earl Confar, and Linda Brouillard.  She was pre-deceased by her sister Florence Murdock. A loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews who she adored so much.

Pete Grover whom we just laid to rest was her companion for so many years and they are now together at peace. 

She had a love of animals which lead her to train dogs for years. Since a young teen she had the biggest love for Horses. They brought her so much comfort and peace. She is now with her horse Dancer who was her angel. Joan loved everything country and was a collector of many things and never missed a yard sale.  Her happiest times were with her boys and grandchildren. She was so proud of them all. She loved to talk to anyone and everyone. She cherished the time spent with Charlene, her daughter in law who was also her caretaker. 

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston on Monday, September 27th from 4:00 to 8:00pm. A funeral service will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 28, at 10:00AM.
