Obituary of Geraldine A. McCormack

Geraldine A. McCormack, 82, of Pembroke passed away on September 17, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Leo J. McCormack. Loving mother to Michael J. McCormack and his wife Karen of Pembroke, and Catherine Thornton of Cambridge. Daughter of the late George and Vera (Maggio) Carnes. Sister to Mary Oliver of Methuen and the late Robert Glazier. 

Geraldine lived for her granddaughter, Katie McCormack, who was also her pride and joy. 

She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. 

She worked for many years at Sears in both Norwell and Providence as a manager in their Maintenance Agreement department.  While she was proud of her many accomplishments at Sears, she was not defined by her career, but rather by the love she shared with her family and the joy of being Katie’s Nonna. 

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 22nd from 4-7:00 PM at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St (Rt. 106) Kingston. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, September 23rd at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest with her husband at the MA National Cemetery in Bourne.
