Obituary of James G. McCain

James G. “Jimmy” McCain of Carver passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at the age of 100.

Born in Lyons, CO, he was the son of the late James & Lucy (Freeman) McCain.

Jimmy was the beloved husband of the late Esther V. (Drysdale) McCain; loving father of Charlotte L. McCain of Carver; dear brother to Margaret Billings, Dean and Gene; and predeceased brothers Richard, Leonard and Merle.  He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Jimmy was a World War II Navy Veteran serving on the USS Winooski and an established cabinet maker in civilian life.
