Obituary of Edward Craig Jr.

Edward Craig, Jr., 92, of Kingston, MA, passed away June 30th, 2021. He previously lived in Petersham, MA., Eastham, MA, and Kihei, HI. Beloved husband of Frances L Craig for 64 years, he was also the loving father to Heather Tschop, Susan Craig, Gordon Craig, Kimberly Martin, and Bonnie Winters; cherished grandfather to ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. 

He was a member of the Petersham Congregational Church, MA and the Keawala’ Congregation Church in Maui, HI. Mr. Craig grew up in Boston and graduated from Hanover High School. 

While at UMass-Amherst, he was the president of his graduating class and married the secretary of his class, Frances Jones. He was an Ag. Major and then became an Insurance Agent and Owner. He was a boy scout leader for many years and also served in his church and the Exchange Club. 

Ed loved to walk on the beach and blow the conch shell for church services. He was an avid Red Sox fan. He was known for his sense of humor and could talk to anyone.

He was preceded in death by his parents Edward Craig, Sr, and Emily Shedd Craig and brother Alexander. He is survived by his brother Duncan Craig.

 A celebration of Edward's life will be held in June of 2022.
