Obituary of Norma Irene Chapman

Norma Irene Chapman, 82 of Kingston, passed away on June 8th, 2021.  Beloved Mother of Steven Akeley and his wife Dawn. Sister to Evelyn Heinzman of California and the late Richard (Dick) Chapman of Hull. Cherished Grandmother to Marissa, Taylor, and Cameron. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Norma was the best mother anyone ever could have wished for. She raised her son Steven by herself from the age of 6. She loved her Grandchildren more than anything on this earth and they brought her more joy than anything. She was a long time secretary in the Guidance department of the Silver Lake High School and in recent years worked part time in the Kingston Library. She loved gardening and never stopped working in her yard. She was a truly beautiful person in every way and will be missed more than words can express.

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St Kingston from 4:00 – 7:00 PM, on Sunday June 13th. Burial will be private.
