Joseph A. Dupont, Jr, 66, of Carver, MA, passed away on April 5, 2021. Son of the late Joseph

A. Dupont, Sr and the late Pauline Vincent Dupont. Beloved husband of 34 years to Virginia

(Raposo) Dupont. Loving father to Brooke Dupont and her fiancé Adam Brown, and Autumn Lee

Dupont. Grandfather to Mason Brown. Brother of Janet Curtis, Paul Dupont, David Dupont,

Peter Dupont, and the late Leo Dupont who passed away at age 7 in 1975. Brother in law of the

late Ontoinette, Lindaura Pires, Joseph Raposa, Joao Raposo and Walter Fox. Uncle of Jennifer

Wires, Jessica Bucaria, Dee Cee Curtis, Michael Dupont, Jenna Dupont, and Katelyn Dupont.

Great Uncle to Dallas, Damien, Destiny, Essence, Anthony, John, Amber, Nelson Fox, Wilson

Fox, Ashley Fox, and many more.

Joseph worked as a cook at the Sears restaurant in Middleboro as a teenager, as a tool and die

maker at Texas Instruments, in Attleboro for 20 years and Hanson Systems in North Attleboro

for 4 years, as a mechanic for 16 years at Paramount Greeting Cards in Pawtucket, RI, as a tool

and die maker at Johnson & Johnson in New Bedford, and in the dairy department at

Hannaford’s in Kingston, while also working as a security guard on weekends at the Marina in

Quincy.

Due to Covid-19 family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Shepherd Funeral

Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver on Monday, April 12th from 9-10:00 AM. A funeral mass will

follow at St. Kateri Church, 126 S. Meadow Rd, Plymouth. Graveside services will follow at St.

Joseph Cemetery in Plymouth
