He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Michael “Big Mike” was born in 1961 in Jamaica Plain, MA. to his loving parents. He attended Marshfield High School and graduated in 1980. Mike went on to become an interior finish carpenter and a master stair builder. He took great pride in his craft. Mike also enjoyed cooking, he was known for his famous meatballs and loved feeding the whole neighborhood for Italian Sunday dinners. He also loved music and dancing. Mike loved camping trips to NH, especially family trips to the Saco River. His family spent many summers canoeing the river and camping with friends and family. Mike was a family man first and foremost. He had an unconditional love for his children and his wife. Mike and Janet were often seen  holding hands, dancing or just enjoying each other’s company. They were true soulmates. His beautiful granddaughter Maddison was his true pride, he loved nothing more than spending time with her. He was so excited for his grandson Bradley Michael to arrive.

We will forever cherish our memories and continue to keep Michael’s legacy alive for generations. Mike was taken from us too soon but he made such an incredible impact on so many. He will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 11, at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St. Kingston, from 11:00 to 3:00PM. Due to Covid 19 restrictions, the services following will be private for family only. We thank you for your understanding.
