Joseph F. Noonan, 53 of Halifax was taken far too soon on Tuesday, January 26, 2021 after injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. Joe grew up in Pembroke and was a 1985 graduate of Silver Lake Regional High School. He went on to graduate from the University of New Haven and later earned an additional degree as a Computer Systems Specialist from Northeastern University.  He had a successful career in the financial industry for over 30 years. Joe married the love of his life, Kerri (Walsh) in 1998 and together they had three beautiful children who were his pride and joy. Sarah 20, Lilly 18, Joey 14. In addition to being a dedicated and loving husband and father, Joe was an avid sports fan and athlete. He was ultra-competitive and excelled in all he did. He enjoyed coaching his children in Halifax Youth Baseball, Basketball and Softball, for the past 15 years. Those were some of the best moments and memories of his life. Joe was a friend to everyone he met and could strike up a conversation with anyone.

In addition to his wife and children, Joe is survived by his mother Geraldine (Sullivan) Noonan, father Richard T. Noonan, sister Kathleen A. Noonan, and in laws Jack, Donna, John and Michael Walsh and families who loved him like their own. Joe had countless friends, many of whom were lifelong, especially Dianne Sampson.

Visiting hours will be Monday, February 1, from 4pm-8pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home,  216 Main Street (Rt. 106) in Kingston.  Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph the Worker in Hanson, Tuesday February 2, at 11:00 am.  In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to The Joe Noonan Memorial Fund at Rockland Trust, 434 Plymouth Street, Halifax, MA 02338.
