Obituary of Carol A Farquharson

Carol A. (Cassell) Farquharson 65, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2020 surrounded by her family at Beth Israel Deaconess of Boston. Carol was born in Dorchester Mass to the late James and Helen ( Garrity) Cassell on February 14,1955.

Carol is survived by her beloved husband of 46 years Alan Farquharson Sr. Six sons, Alan Jr, Brian, Nicholas and wife Briana, Matthew, Michael and partner Melissa, and Shawn. 5 grandchildren, Alyssa, Brandon, Bailey. Tristan, Ian and one great granddaughter Sophie. She is also survived by 2 sisters Helen Cuddy, Mary and Husband Ted Lally, and a brother Bernard Cassell.  Carol leaves behind many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by five brothers.

Carol will be remembered for her love of baking, she especially loved making cookies with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed crocheting, fishing and camping.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Visiting hours will be held December 30,2020 at the Shepard Funeral Home, 116 Main St (Rt. 58) Carver from 4-8:00 PM

Burial will be private

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol’s name to American Heart Association
