Doris Prince, 97, of Duxbury, passed away peacefully on December 4th, 2020.  She was the beloved wife of the late Leo Prince Sr.

Doris was a lifelong resident of Duxbury and was the daughter of the late Margaret (Cooper) and Walter Prince and sister of the late Richard Prince.

She was the beloved mother of Leo Prince, Jr. and wife Sarah, Mary and Paul Camara, Janet and David Collins, and the late Margaret and Michael Williams. Beloved Grandmother to Christopher, Michael, Melissa and Sara and beloved Great Grandmother to Sydney, Leo, Alison, Aidan, Matthew and Nicole. She was the beloved aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Doris was an artist and studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, where she met her future husband Leo. She later graduated from Tufts University/Jackson College.

She taught Art at the Marshfield Public School System. She was a devoted Red Sox and Patriots Fan. She loved to travel, to have fun, and to laugh as much as possible. She was a devoted friend to many and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A private burial will be held at the Mayflower Cemetery in Duxbury.
