Obituary of Gregory A. Samos

Gregory A. Samos, 82, of Plymouth, passed away on September 30, 2020. He was the devoted husband of Jo-Ann Samos. He is survived by his children Gregory V. Samos and Kristen E. Samos. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christopher and Mary Samos,  and siblings, Lawrence Samos, Barbara Tavares and Christina Samos. He was the loving grandfather of Nicholas, Andrew, Emily and Anna. 

Gregory proudly served his country in the National Guard. He was the Disaster Recovery Manager at Blue Cross Blue Shield. He graduated URI with a bachelors degree in Engineering. Gregory was  known as a kind and gentle man who loved his family unconditionally. He was a man who loved jigsaw puzzles. He was passionate about nature, particularly trees and birds. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St.Carver,  on Wednesday, October 7, from 9:00 to 10:30AM. A Funeral mass will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Carver. Interment will be private. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.
