Obituary of Jacquelyn C. Baptista
Jacquelyn Charlene Baptista, 35, passed away in Port Charlotte Florida on July 26, 2020 when her heart succumbed to pneumonia.
Jacqui was born September 30, 1984 in Northampton Massachusetts .Jacqui grew up in Pembroke ,where she enjoyed life on the pond ,swimming ,boating and skating. She attended Pembroke schools and graduated from the Middleborough night program.
She was a champion equestrian where her lifelong love of horses shined through. In kind, she was champion of people. She never met a stranger she wouldn’t help and always had your back, this built lifelong friendships.
Her children ,Madysin and Masin ,were her sun and her moon, but she had many stars. Like the Pied Piper, neighborhood children would flock to her. She loved and cared for all of them and helped make great memories.
She was an adoring auntie and mother .She will be sorely missed ,but held firmly in everyone’s hearts
Jacqui is Preceded by her father Arthur “Butch”Baptista, her first best friend.

She survived by her love of 19 years Jeffrey Silvia. Together they walked many roads the most beautiful being the birth of their children ,Madisin and Masin.
She’s also survived by her mother Donna Biladeau Baptista and stepfather Gordon Taylor. Her grandmother Antonia Jacqueline Sienkiewicz, her uncle Tony Biladeau .
◦ Jacqui was the youngest and most fierce of nine siblings ,who will carry her spirit forever. Her sister Ashley Baptista and her partner Daniel Fencer, brother Scott Baptista and his partner Evelyn, Michael Baptista and his wife Maureen, Arthur Baptista and his partner Deb, sisters Donna Baptista Houle,Joanne Cavanaugh ,Lisa Furtado, sister Lisa Baptista, and brother James Baptista. Also ,Jacqui’s best friend forever Korey Graney and Jeffrey‘s parents Donna Dyer and James Sylvia
She leaves behind many nieces and nephews that she loved and adored. Many cousins and friends that will miss her dearly. She will forever be our angel watching over us.
Memorial visiting hours will be held at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 216 Main St, Kingston, on Tuesday, August 11, from 4:00 to 7:30PM. A brief service will be held at 7:30PM.
