Nettie was our organist and vocalist at St. Angela Merici Church/School, 917 Morris Ave., Bronx, N. Y. I attended grammar school there from 1939-1947. Miss DeNigris, as we called her, taught me and others the basics of singing. She was my favorite. I’m still singing at 90.
