Obituary of Susan Gail Glover

Susan Gail Glover passed away at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth on July 15, 2020 at the age of 71. She was born in Melrose and raised in Wakefield, MA andmoved with her parents to Hingham MA in 1961,graduating from Hingham High School in 1967. Susan lived for many years in Hingham and Duxbury with her devoted mother Eva along with cats that she adored and cared for. For the past ten years she lived in a residential group home in Kingston. She attended a social day program where she enjoyed arts & crafts  and her many friends. As a longtime member of the Mayflower Congregational Church in Kingston, Susan regularly attended church services and the Caring-Hearts bible-study group. A dream came true for Susan not once but six times, when she vacationed at Disney World with her dear friend Lea Bouchard. Despite great physical challenges, Susan lived her life with courage, grace and acceptance.  She possessed a wonderful sense of humor and was grateful for the smallest kindness.

She is survived by her brother Harlan W. Glover and his wife Paula Glover, her brother Stephen W. Glover, her brother J. Duncan Glover and his wife Louise Rachin; five nieces & nephews: Christian Jon Glover, Lauren Faith Shaw and her husband Al Shaw, Tobin John Glover and his wife Jennifer Glover, Tatiana Glover Kiernan and her husband Brendan Kiernan, John Guedes Glover and his wife Alison Glover; nine grand-nieces & nephews and five cousins; and her beloved BAMSI (Brockton Area Multi-Services, Inc.) family. She was predeceased by her parents John Gladden Glover and Eva May (Wellington) Glover. Funeral and burial services will be private.
