I am at a loss for words and have so much sorrow. I am so glad that a few weeks ago, we were having our roof replaced. I work nights and had worked that night and needed a place to sleep. Jackie right away said “yes”.
I’m so glad that when I arrived, albeit I was exhausted, I got the chance to sit for an hour and chat. She caught me up on the Alliance Ladies (my vicarious Grandmothers) John the Sexton and a few other members of UU Dux, We shared updates of our families, both of us in disbelief how her grandchildren are in college and how my daughter will be a Feshman at PITT in August.
I then crawled up only to sleep in a room that reminded me of being in a tree house. I slept so soundly. Feeling so comfortable & just a feeling of mother-like love from Jackie.
I still can believe it. My prayers go out to her family. May God hold you in his arms and find comfort that she is in his. Heaven just rcvd a true angel.
