Obituary of Cora Patricia (Nickerson) Jay

Kingston, MA – Cora Patricia (Nickerson) Jay, affectionately known as Tish, age 83, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on June 24, 2020. She leaves her loving husband Albert Jay, married 21 years, five children, 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 2 on the way, a sister, step-family, numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Her children are; Paul Nickerson Jr, and wife, Brenda; Karen Boyd, and husband Adam; Susan Bouchard, and husband Tommy; Scott Nickerson, and wife Terri; and Mark Nickerson, and wife Clara. She is predeceased by her first husband of 39 years, Paul F. Nickerson Sr.

Tish’s legacy will thrive for generations. She will be remembered for her incredible impact in the lives of everyone she met. She was a beautiful example for us all, filled with passion and love for God, His Word, and others. She loved to pray and believed in God’s power to change and transform people’s hearts and lives now and for eternity.

Her sense of humor, quick wit, joy, courage and genuine care for everyone, especially her family, was evident throughout her entire life. She loved to tell stories that would make you laugh and want to cling to every word. She inspired many to follow her faith and always emphasized the importance of passing it on from generation to generation.

A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 10 at 12:00 Noon, followed by a reception at New Testament Church, 1120 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth, MA, preceded by a private burial service at Otis AFB.
