Genevieve White, 86, passed away on June 15, 2020. Gene was preceded in death by her loving husband Walter F. White and her son Laurence White. She is survived by her children, Geralyn White of Canton, Tim and Diane White of Harwich and Mary Alice Sullivan of Milton as well as her five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Gerard Deveney of Cohasset, Edward I. Deveney of South Yarmouth and Paul J. Deveney of Washington D.C and Miami. She was also preceded in death by her parents Edward P. Deveney and Eleanor G. Deveney and sisters Charlotte Collins of Raynham and Julie Deveney of Gainesville , FL. 

Genevieve M. White always believed her life‘s greatest highlights were, the day she received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, the day she married her husband Walter F. White, the four days she adopted their four children and the many years spent traveling and teaching biblical principles of marriage through the book “Daughters of Sarah” Which she authored;  As well as “Sons of Abraham” written by her husband. They traveled the United States teaching and mentoring couples in marriage. During those years they received hundreds of letters telling of restored marriages with all the praise going to God for the healings. 

A graveside service will be held June 19, 2020 at 1 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery in Dorchester, MA. In Lieu of flowers, donations in Genevieve’s name can be made to Teen Challenge Center, Brockton, MA. 

A Memorial Tree was planted for Genevieve M.
