Obituary of Robert F. Toner

Robert Toner, 86, passed away on June   , 2020. He was the loving husband of Cheryl Toner. He is survived by his son, Robert Toner Jr. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel Toner and Elizabeth Blair Toner and great grandchildren, Teddy Trent and Henry Trent.  Robert is also survived by his brother and sister in law, Karen and Paul Hughes. He is also survived by his loving niece, Olivia Hughes. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Toner and Edith (Kemper) Toner. 

Robert was born and raised in Maryland. He was a proud Corporal in the US Army, stationed in Ft. Molesworth England. He worked as an engineer with the Army and also helped design the local airfield where planes would land during the war. Robert began his career with the Baltimore gas and electric company. He ended his career as President of Hamburgers / Kennedys Retail Store in MD. Robert loved the beach and ocean. He love to travel especially to Aruba. He had a love for his family, he was an avid golfer and reader. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
