Charlie loved to cut wood, handle lumber, and run heavy equipment, and was a proud member of the I.U.O.E. Local 4 Boston for more than 60 years having worked for many large construction companies across New England. He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors. He always had a large garden and canned everything he grew. Charlie never held a grudge and would help anyone in need. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren. Charlie was a strong and powerful man. He loved to watch old westerns on TV and was a lifetime member of the Upland Sportsman Club in Plympton. He was the beloved father to Kimberly and Albert LaRue of Hanson, Steven and Christine Winslow of Plympton, Richard Winslow of Carver, and Robert and Deborah Winslow of Plympton. He is survived by nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren, as well as sister and brother-in-law, Jeanne and Robert Clark, of Hanover. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his longtime friend Pat Leslie of Plympton. He lived a beautiful life and will be fondly remembered.
