Bill and I knew Mason and Laney through the annual American Wholesale meetings. While the “boys” were in their meetings, the “girls” would take in the sights of the surrounding area. We dined together in the evenings and that’s when we would tell the stories that made us all laugh. Bill and I had the pleasure of visiting the “Cooke Home” in Duxbury. Being with them was just “comfortable”. Mason was a great hugger. I called him “orange juice” because it was great to squeeze him. I just cannot think of a more perfect description than that. Such a wonderful friendship with a couple who were so kind and hospitable. Laney, all our love and hugs are being sent to you

Sue and Phil Hoffman share their condolences to the family. We met the Cookes back in the mid-sixties and maintained a friendship for many years. Many memories that one would never forget. Mason was one of the nicest things that could happen to one's life. He was a mentor of mentors and just one heck of a person. We will always miss him. Phil and Sue

Mason was a valued choir member and friend. Everyone loved Mason. And he was especially valued as a bass.
Dan and Lorrie Hall send condolences to Laney. We will be moving to the Village soon, and hope to see her there.
