I was so lucky to have met Maureen at her son Jonathan's wedding. She was funny and kind, and promptly proceeded to send me and Joe Christmas Cards ever since. I last saw here at Jonathan and Chi's Christmas party. So glad I did. It's hard to lose your Mama and Wife. My sincere condolences, and my sincere thanks that I knew this great lady.

I unfortunately never had the privilege to meet Maureen, but I am a friend of her son Jonathan, and knowing what a kind, caring, and thoughtful young man he is, I can only imagine what a wonderful Mom Maureen was. My condolences to the entire family. Sincerely, Judy Hartwell

Sending my deepest condolences and prayers to each family member. It saddens me deeply that she has left us much, much too soon. She was a lovely, generous and caring person. I don’t have one childhood holiday memory that doesn’t include her! As cousins, we spent not only the holidays together, but many other wonderful times. Sending my love to Larry, each of her beautiful children, their spouses, her grandchildren, sister, brother, extended family and many friends.
Maureen your smile, laughter, kindness and joy will be missed. You never be forgotten!
Love with all my heart,
Jean

It's difficult to put Auntie Moe's personality & energy into words. She was always smiling & laughing & looking towards the bright side of life. She was the ultimate hostess, an amazing cook & I feel like I spent more time at her house than my own when I was a child. When I heard the news, the very first memory that popped into my head was a time when I was a Sophomore in college & received a phone call that my father had a heart attack & was in the hospital. I had to see him with my own eyes, a phone call later that afternoon saying he was ok was just not enough. I called my my Auntie Moe & she immediately drove from Pembroke to Providence to pick me up & bring me into Boston so I could see my father with my own eyes. She was kind hearted, playful & always there to help. She never missed a birthday or holiday, always let you know she was thinking of you with the classic 'XOXO Auntie Moe'. I will genuinely miss you & treasure these last Christmas & Birthday cards from you. RIP Auntie Moe. Until I see you again ❤ Biz
