Obituary of Selina Fischer

(Plymouth) Selina Fischer age 100, formally of Medford, and Hull, passed away on March 31, 2020, at Lifecare of Plymouth. She was born in London, England and lived there throughout WW II, and the Blitz. Selina is the former wife of the late John J. Fischer of Medford, Mass. She was a jovial and loving soul, and would extend help to anyone who needed it. She loved Knitting , gardening , Bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren, Lyle DeLano & wife Kristin, and the late Christopher Fischer. Later in life she loved to visit and reconnect with her siblings in England Genty, Nellie, Polly, and Bill Gudgeon, all deceased. Everyone loved Selina, and she touched many lives. She is the Mother of Angela G Fischer & her partner Loretta Riedel of Salem N.H., John “Jack” Fischer & his wife Lee (Casella) Fischer, of Northport Florida, Catherine (Fischer)DeLano & her Husband Ron DeLano of Carver, Mass. Selina has 4 great grandchildren Desmond, Dexter, and Darcie DeLano of Carver, Chelsea Fischer Withers of England, and many step grand & great grandchildren in the Casella family of Medford, dear friend Joe Sokolski of Medford and many loving companions and Staff at the Lifecare facility in Plymouth. Her family will have a graveside service, in Reading Massachusetts, sometime in the future. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lifecare of Plymouth, Obery St., Plymouth MA 02360
