Obituary of Anthony (Tony) F. Luca

Anthony (Tony) F. Luca, of Carver, MA, passed peacefully on March 22, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72. Born in Lynn, MA to the late Francis P. and Carmela Luca of Osterville, MA; beloved husband to Judy (Leone); dedicated father of Kerri Luca Jacobs and husband Mark Jacobs of Plymouth, MA; Joseph Luca of Portland, ME; and loving Poppi to Cooper and Harrison Jacobs. Anthony is survived by seven brothers and sisters; Camille Fitzpatrick of Carlsbad, CA; Frank Luca and wife Shelley of Canyon Lake, CA; Anne Haney of Plymouth, MA; Francesca Luca of Plymouth, MA; Mary Benoit and husband Keith of East Sandwich, MA; Lisa Badger and husband Bryan of Castle Rock, CO; and Christopher Luca and wife Joanne of Milton, MA. He is also survived by his Uncle, Joseph Luca of Paxton, MA. Anthony was a 1965 graduate of Saugus High School, and a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was a resident of Carver, MA for 46 years where he joined the police force in 1975 and proudly served for 37 years. Anthony was a caring and loving husband, father, and grandfather who cherished the times he had with his grandchildren. Family and friends will be invited to attend a celebration of life at a future date.
