Dennis - Michael and I will miss you at every turn of the road throughout life. You were a trusted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother-in-law, father-in-law, and friend. Your modesty in all of your life's accomplishments was notable, as was your courteous manner in meeting new people, acquaintances or old friends. You were the life of the party and ironically, always was the BEST listener, always pausing before hitting the right words or tone in your response.
Your wide range of interests from world events, business, community, charities, causes, hobbies, and of course your devoted attention to your grandchildren were qualities that more in life should aspire to. You were smart and truly knew the world of finance better than anyone.
The love you shared with your beautiful wife was always seen in every smile or hug passed between you. Attending your 35th Anniversary celebration in Boston was an example of how the two of you 'love birds', were true love a its best.
Your courage in facing this lifelong illness and what you accomplished in raising money for High Hopes and the Joselyn Foundation was amazing. The fund raisers at the Boston Pops Gala and all the rest, raised awareness and money in the fight to cure this disease. You fought hard and long...longer than most would ever have anticipated. Your struggle of late in an out of the hospital and your determination to get back to your old self filled us with admiration of your spirit.
Your smile, chuckles, and teasing nature were uniquely yours.
The trips the four of us shared this past two years in particular was so well timed now that you are gone. The Rocky Mountain Train ride was an adventure in terrain and wilderness, but it was the good cheer and moments spending time dining on the train or hanging out in the pubs while we watched Bruins playoff games that were highlights for us to remember.
Your courage of never complaining or wanting to put any of us out, was so typical you. You are one of a kind dear friend.
